About Alex Stark

I am the owner and founder of Stark Therapeutic. The mother of two young children and a previous resident of Jupiter – currently residing in Cleveland, Ohio, I understand not only the counseling side of the equation but, more importantly, how to relate with people.

My take on therapy combines all of the fundamentals of traditional counseling with the belief that it should be geared toward people and their individual situations in this modern world. If you are looking for a stuffy, boring experience, Stark Therapeutic may not be the place for you. I believe that therapy can produce results and be a part of your week that you look forward to.

I have more than a decade of experience in working with individuals, including four years of executive level leadership in a large nonprofit organization. I hold an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Loyola University New Orleans (if you have not been there, I highly suggest you plan a trip) and master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University.

In addition to my career in therapy, I am a regular contributor to InTheBite Magazine, have managed a floating marlin fishing lodge in Central America, and traveled widely. Some of my favorite places are Montana, Mexico, New Orleans, Cleveland.
